Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Taleem Sync (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you're using the Service on behalf of a school or other institution (the "Institution"), you confirm you're authorized to accept these terms for that Institution.

Taleem Sync is an early-stage, independently operated software project — not yet a formally registered company. We'll update these terms if that changes.

2. What the Service is

Taleem Sync is a multi-tenant school management platform covering admissions, attendance, fee collection, timetables, exams, payroll, and related administrative workflows for educational institutions.

3. Accounts and access

  • An Institution's administrator creates and manages accounts for its staff, teachers, guardians, and students.
  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
  • Access to specific data and features is governed by your role within the Institution, as configured by that Institution's administrators.
  • Notify us or your Institution's administrator immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Institution data and ownership

All student, staff, guardian, academic, financial, and administrative data an Institution enters into the Service remains the Institution's property. We process it on the Institution's behalf to provide the Service — we don't claim ownership of it, and we don't use it for purposes outside operating the Service (see our Privacy Policy).

Institutions are responsible for the accuracy of data they enter, and for having the right to enter and process that data (including any consents required from students, guardians, or staff under applicable law).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Access or attempt to access data belonging to another Institution, or data outside what your role permits.
  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Use the Service to upload unlawful content or to harass, defame, or impersonate anyone.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without our written permission.
  • Interfere with the normal operation of the Service for other users.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Institutions subscribe to a paid plan to use the Service beyond any trial period. Plan pricing, limits (e.g. maximum students or campuses), and features are shown on our Pricing page and may change with reasonable notice. Payments and billing records are currently recorded manually by an Institution's administrator (e.g. bank transfer) rather than through an automated card checkout.

If an Institution's subscription lapses or payment isn't received, we may restrict or suspend access to the Service for that Institution until the matter is resolved, after reasonable notice.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service reliably available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We'll aim to minimize disruption and communicate significant planned downtime where practical.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taleem Sync is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including data loss, service interruption, or decisions made based on information in the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Termination

An Institution may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, non-payment, or conduct that risks the security or integrity of the Service or other Institutions' data. Where practical, we'll give notice and a chance to export data before permanent deletion.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date, and we'll make a reasonable effort to notify active Institutions of significant changes.
